The 5 Steps to Buying with Michael
- Consultation: We meet for a one or two hour session to define your home preferences, budget, timeline, and mortgage pre-approval. I learn your goals to tailor the search. This is one of my favorite parts of the buying process. Nothing better than a cup of coffee and good conversation!
- Market Research: Once we identify the neighborhoods you’re interested in, I analyze the market to find homes matching your criteria, sending you timely updates of available properties. I’m familiar with so many neighborhoods and enjoy getting to know ones I’m not as familiar with.
- House Shopping: I feel it’s important to see as many properties as possible so when it’s time to offer on one you’ll feel ready. I’ll join you on every showing or you can attend open houses on your own. It’s up to you on what feels comfortable!
- You Find Your Home: When you find “the one,” I negotiate and help strategize your offer, backed by a very detailed market analysis of recently sold comparable properties to secure the best deal. From pre-offer home inspections to escalation clauses, I am experienced in techniques needed to make a winning offer.
- Your Offer is Accepted: The best feeling! I guide you through inspections, paperwork, attorneys and financing, working with your lender to ensure a seamless closing.
